Hay: an effective canned feed for animals
Hay is a fodder preserved in anaerobic conditions, which is prepared from herbs grown to a moisture content of 45-55%. This process allows you to preserve the leaves of the grass, which significantly increases the content of nutrients in the feed. Anaerobic conditions, i.e. lack of access to air, contribute to the development of lactic acid fermentation and conservation of mass.
Advantages of storage in polymer sleeves:
- Small section of the sleeve: allows you to quickly and efficiently select feed.
- Selection of raw materials: the ability to store any type of feed in the sleeve.
- Location of the sleeve: does not require a lot of labor to organize the site.
- Low capital costs: you can pack as much feed as you need without the constraints of storage.
- High productivity: filling of the sleeve happens quickly, which minimizes the effect of air on the quality of the feed.
- Shelf life: up to a year without loss of nutrition.
Hay harvesting process:
1. Compaction of the mass: the mass goes to the rotor, which feeds it into the press tunnel and is unloaded on the depositing table.
2. Pressing: the loaded mass on the conveyor moves to the pressing rotor, where it seeps through the tunnel into the polymer sleeve.
3. Sealing: after filling the sleeve, it is immediately sealed to ensure long-term storage without loss of quality.
