Corn silage is not just one of the components of a cow’s diet, but a complete multi-component feed. Silage contains a large amount of amino acids and vitamin C. It also contains organic fats and carbohydrates – they are easily absorbed and therefore especially valuable. Corn is rich in starch, which promotes rapid weight gain. A large amount of glucose significantly increases the yield of cows. When mixed with other feeds, such as hay, silage improves their digestibility. This additionally increases feed consumption, providing considerable savings.
When harvesting silage, the most important thing is simply to ensure the absence of access to oxygen in the sum with a high density of the whole mass.
This can be achieved by placing it in polymer sleeves.
ADVANTAGES OF STORAGE TECHNOLOGY IN POLYMER SLEEVES:
- small section of the sleeve: allows you to maintain the required speed of selection
- choice of raw materials: the ability to store any type of feed in the sleeve
- location of the sleeve: organization of the site does not require a lot of labor
- low capital costs: you can pack as much as you need, not as much as the warehouses allow
- high productivity: the sleeve is filled as quickly as possible, which minimizes the impact of air on the feed
- shelf life: up to a year without reducing the nutritional value of the feed
HOW PROCUREMENT EXACTLY TAKES PLACE:
- The mass is transported to the rotary compactor press and unloaded onto the laying table;
- The loaded mass on the conveyor moves to the pressing rotor;
- The rotor pushes the fodder through the tunnel into the polymer sleeve (the silage mass is pressed);
- After complete filling, the bag is immediately sealed.
“IDEA-UKRAINE” LLC provides professional services for packing fodder into polymer sleeves.
