Description Pioneer 11CH4

11CH4 inoculant is an innovative patented product designed to improve biogas production. It works by unlocking nutrients and releasing energy to significantly increase methane production from grass and silage compared to traditional acetic acid bacteria

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION

  • Pioneer 11CH4 inoculant is an innovative, patented product designed to improve biogas production. It is intended for introduction into silage in order to increase the digestibility of fiber, which leads to an increase in the yield of methane .
  • Studies have proven that the use of 11ХХ4 inoculant allows for a 10% increase in methane yield, while simultaneously improving the aerobic stability of silage and reducing losses by 50% .
  • It is important that the inoculant 11ХХ4 is certified for use in organic farming in accordance with EU regulation No. 834/2007

STORAGE

  • Pioneer brand 11Х4 contains live strains of lactic acid bacteria:
    • Lactobacillus buchneri LN40177 / ATCC PTA-6138.
  • The total number of lactic acid bacteria ≥ 1.00 × 10 11  CFU/g.
    * CFU – colony-forming units.

METHOD OF ACTION

  • The 11CH4 inoculant contains a specially selected strain of Lactobacillus buchneri LN40177, which releases ferulate esterase enzymes during ensiling. These enzymes are able to break down the bonds of the cell wall, unlocking nutrients and releasing energy.
  • Decomposition of “digested” fiber components by microorganisms in a biogas reactor significantly improves their utilization. This innovative approach to the treatment of silage intended for biogas production is unique thanks to the 11CH4 inoculant.
