Silage films

Silage films

Silo films are a material created using modern technology and have a multi-layered structure. Silage storages: pits, trenches, mounds are covered with film for ensiling, which prevents the penetration of oxygen, sunlight, moisture and helps keep feed fresh for a long time.

Properties

The white layer is placed outside and reflects solar radiation, avoiding excessive heating of the feed. This avoids unwanted fermentation.
The black layer forms an infrared barrier, again providing a more balanced temperature. The temperature must always be at an optimal level to ensure the development of lactic acid bacteria.

Advantages

UV resistance.
A long period of use of the film.
Creation of complete tightness.
Control of the temperature of the upper layer of feed.
Preservation of all nutritional properties.
Ensuring feed safety for several years.
Simplicity and ease of use.
